MTS extends innovative anonymous privacy features to their MLC installation

MTS Russia have added functionality to their MLC installation in order to be able mask and unmask HTTP requests. These features allow users of Location Based Services (LBS) to be completely anonymous. The Application Service Provider (ASP) delivering the LBS only receives the service request and location information, they do not receive the real identity of the users. The MLC handles all translations between identities and is a proxy for traffic between the user and the ASP.
