USSD Applications
The Mobile Arts USSD-Based Application Suite includes:
- USSD Portal: this service enables the Operator to provide an interactive USSD menu with access to online and off-line legacy content
- Reversed Charge Calling: enables the user (e.g. a prepaid user without credit) to call another user with reversed charging. After invocation, the service sends a USSD request to the called party and, if they accept the call, the call is automatically established. If the called party is a prepaid user, realtime charging by means of interworking with the prepaid system is applied.
- Prepaid Credit Enquiry: enables the user to get their current prepaid balance over USSD.
- Prepaid Credit Transfer: enables the user to transfer credit from their own prepaid account to another user’s prepaid account
- Send Text: enables the user to very quickly and easily select and send a standard text message to another user via a USSD interface
